I prepare it the same that you would a store bought bag of frozen corn. Sometimes I will boil it, sometimes I will pan fry it in some butter, and other times I will add it into a soup or stew. Blanching helps preserve flavor and nutrients and kills bacteria.

I only freeze 2 in each bag! Because it’s only myself and my husband. The secret is you need very fresh corn! I just put 2 in each gallon size ziplock bag and put maybe 2 sets into another freezer ziplock gallon size bag and remove any air and it’s good into at least winter! Just pull out 2 ears and wrap them in paper towels and microwave 5 minutes each side (removing parts of the husks in between) takes about 10 minutes in the microwave! Cut off the whole bottom with a sharp knife and the entire ear slips right out!
